Com influências claras de Kreator ou Destruction, um Thrash portanto bastante Europeu, os Legion Of The Damned têm já duas décadas de história e parecem saber bem como criar um álbum de irresistível malevolência e agressão. Mesmo se os temas acabam por não variar muito em velocidade ou toada, a produção densa criou uma sonoridade extremamente eficaz a fazer transbordar a fúria de riffs pesados e irreverentes, peças centrais de "Descent Into Chaos" e distribuidos a toda a força por Richard Ebisch que debita aqui alguns dos mais arrebatadores riffs de tempos recentes, bem densos e imponentes.

Temas como "Night Of The Sabbath", "War Is My Blood", "Shrapnel Rain" ou "Lord Of The Flies" são destaques de alto nível em "Descent Into Chaos" e parte dos ingredientes que o tornam um viciante álbum the Thrash imparável e cortante.

They are not trying to be melodic, or cuddly, and they spit on the face of any hearing problems warning. No. Netherland's Legion Of The Damned have only one thing on their minds and that's hammering our hearing centers with the sublime aggression of "Descent Into Chaos", no mercy or sympathy.

With some Kreator or Destruction influences, hence a very European sounding Thrash, Legion Of The Damned count almost two decades of activity and they know well how to create an album of evil and aggression. Even the songs won't vary up in speed or anything else, the thick production created a sound very effective at highlighting the fury of heavy and irreverent riffs, centre pieces of "Descent Into Chaos" and relentlessly handed out by Richard Ebisch, who delivers some of the most stunning riffing of recent times, very thick, very powerful.

Songs such as "Night Of The Sabbath", "War Is My Blood", "Shrapnel Rain" or "Lord Of The Flies" are highlights in "Descent Into Chaos" and a part of the ingredients that make this an addictive album of unstoppable and tearing Thrash.
