A banda Germânica está claramente inspirada nesse seu campeonato muito próprio, o álbum salta-nos ao ouvido muito rapidamente, graças ao dinamismo e melodia de temas como "Habgier Und Tod", "Ode An Die Feindschaft" ou "Nach Jahr Und Tag", ainda que seja muito complicado destacar temas num álbum muito sólido e coeso. Por comparação a "Wer Wind Saet", "Sturm Aufs Paradies" soa muito mais inspirado, energético e não só com mais momentos de interesse nos instrumentais, como uma sublime utilização dos elementos folk da sua sonoridade. A banda parece rejuvenescida e equilibra muito a sua energia com uma certa poesia que sempre lhes permeou as composições.

É inquestionavelmente um salto para a frente e um álbum de Folk Metal que dá um profundo gozo ouvir.

Here we have it, the return with "Sturm Aufs Paradies", of Germany's Saltatio Mortis, one of the most marking and respected bands in the German Folk spectrum.

It's also fair to say that Saltatio Mortis tend to make high quality albums with few faux pas, so "Sturm Aufs Paradies" was an album eagerly awaited and the waiting certainly paid off.

The German band sounds clearly inspired in that league of its very own, the album jumping at you really fast, thanks to the dynamic and melody of songs such as "Habgier Und Tod", "Ode An Die Feindschaft" or "Nach Jahr Und Tag", even if it's very complicated to highlight any songs in a very solid and coherent album. In comparison with "Wer Wind Saet", "Sturm Aufs Paradies" sounds a lot more inspired, energetic and not only with more interesting instrumentals, but also a great using of the band's folk elements, while the vocal melodies are really catchy. The band sounds rejuvenated and balances very well its energy with a certain poetry that seems to permeate their songs.

This is undeniably a leap forward and a Folk Metal album that will be a joy to listen to.
